The five–year undergraduate (UG) program in Construction Technology at CEPT University is a unique engineering program focused on creative problem-solving and technological innovation in construction. It is situated within an ecosystem of allied disciplines like architecture, planning and management all of which focus on built environments. It is the only construction technology program in India that is centered on studio teaching. Small groups of students engage with real-life problems under the guidance of studio tutors. To tackle complex problems of the world today, problem solving skills need to be second nature to any working professional. The ‘studio’ style of teaching inculcates problem solving, independent thinking and action-oriented approach among the students and it constitutes the bulk of the academic credits in any given semester. The studios are supported with mandatory courses, electives and skill-enhancing workshops aimed at expanding conceptual, theoretical and analytical abilities of students. The faculty in the program comprises highly experienced academicians with excellent professional and academic rigour. Apart from the full-time faculty members, visiting professors and practicing professionals from the industry regularly teach studios and courses, bringing practical experience to the classroom.

Evaluation process
Evaluation will be done in two stages as mentioned below:
Stage 1- Scrutiny for eligibility: All applications received will be scrutinized based on information provided/uploaded in the application forms. This scrutiny is to check whether the applicant meets the eligibility criteria.
Only those applicants who meet the requirements will be considered eligible for the merit list to be prepared for the admission (stage 2).
Stage 2 – Preparation of merit list: The merit list of all the eligible candidates shall be based on JEE(Main) examination of the corresponding year.
Note: Admissions Procedure for All India seats is according to the Government of Gujarat Guidelines.
Bachelor’s in Construction Technology (BCT) Course, candidates who have cleared the qualifying examination from an eligible Board from the school located in India (Including Gujarat State) with minimum eligibility criteria as prescribed by AICTE/Council from time to time and have appeared in JEE (Main) of corresponding year.
