Pt Deendayal Upadhyaya Institute Delhi BPT BOT & BPO Admission 2018 - Pt Deendayal Upadhyaya Institute for the Physically Handicapped, New Delhi has announced notification for the BPT BOT & BPO Entrance Test 2018. Applications are invited on prescribed forms for admission to the 1st year of following courses for the academic session 2018-19 .
Courses Offered and Eligibility :
BPT (Bachelor of Physiotherapy)
- Duration: 4 ½ years
- Eligibility: 10+2 with 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry Biology and English (PCBE), provided the candidate has passed each subject separately
BOT (Bachelor of Occupational Therapy)
- Duration: 4 ½ years
- Eligibility: 10+2 with 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, biology and English (PCBE), provided the candidates pass each subject separately.
BPO (Bachelor of Prosthetics & Orthotics)
- Duration: 4 ½ years
- Eligibility: 10+2 with 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Mathematics & English (PCBE/PCME), provided the candidate pass each subject separately.
Eligibility Qualifications:
- SSC examination of CBSE or equivalent (10+2) with 50% or more marks for general category and 45% for SC/ST/PH/OBC and CW APP category in the aggregate of four subjects; PCBE for BPT/BOT and PCBE/PCME for BPO, provided the candidate has passed in each subject separately
- The candidates appearing/appeared in the 10+2 examination may also apply. However, it is subjected to their clearance of qualifying exam with a required percentage of marks before declaration of result of entrance test
- The candidates who have passed their 10+2 exam before the year 2014-2015 and have discontinued their regular studies for more than 3 years are not eligible to appear in the entrance test.
Age (as on 01st December 2018)
- Minimum 17 years of age and maximum 23 years of age for General category, 28 years of age in case of SC/ST/PH category

- BPO (General - 15, SC - 05, ST - 02, OBC - 08, PH - 01, CWAPP - 01, Total 31)
- Total No. of Seats: 139
- PH - (Physically Handicapped-(3% seats) horizontal reservation across the categories), STNA-states where such training facilities are not available, CWAPP-Children of War Widows and Army personnel who have died or disabled during hostilities, FN-Foreign Nationals
Application Procedure :
- Cost of Prospectus and Application Form.
- For General /CWAPP/OBC - Rs.1200/- (Institute counter-by hand).
- For SC/ST/PH- Rs.600/- (Institute counter-by hand).
- Application Form with Prospectus can be downloaded from the Institute Website : www.iphnewdelhi.in
- Prospectus cum Application form can be obtained by depositing a pay order/Demand Draft drawn in favour of Director, Pt Deendayal Upadhyaya Institute for the Physically Handicapped payable at New Delhi .
- However, such downloaded application forms should be submitted along with a Bank Draft of Rs.1200/- for General Category/OBC and Rs.600/- for SC/ST/PH Candidates .
- Prospectus will be available on sale counter in Accounts Section of Institute between 10.00 a.m. to 04.00 p.m. on all working days .
