ELIGIBILITY CONDITIONS FOR APPEARING IN ENTRANCE TEST
Any candidate who has already passed or appearing in March 2022 in the 10+2 Examination of the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi or its equivalent Examination conducted by a recognized Board/University/Council shall be eligible to appear in the Entrance Test.

STEPS TO FOLLOW :
- Register Online. [last date for registration: July 01, 2022 (Friday)].
- Note down your Login Id and Password (login details will be sent to your registered Email Id also).
- Login to your account to pay fee online. [last date for submission of fee: July 04, 2022 (Monday)].
- After successful payment, complete your form. Upload scanned passport size photograph, signature, fill other important information and Save and Confirm. (Once you confirm the form, you will not be allowed to change information in the form). [last date for completion of registration form: July 06, 2022 (Wednesday)]
- Download your Admit Card after July 11, 2022 (Monday). (Bring one photo identity proof like Driving License, Voter Card, Aadhaar Card, Passport etc. at the Examination centre failing which the candidate will not be allowed to enter in the Examination Hall.)

NOTE :
- The fee for the Entrance Test once paid shall not be refunded.
- Once the candidate has submitted the online Entrance Test form, any change in the form including category once marked shall not be allowed.
- Candidates who are to avail the concession in Entrance Test Form Fee under the category SC/ST/PwD, they are required to send the self-attested copy of category certificate along with printout of Entrance Test Form to Assistant Registrar, CET Cell, Aruna Ranjit Chandra Hall, Panjab University, Chandigarh-160014 by registered post/speed post or by hand on or before July 08, 2022 upto 4:00 p.m..
- Class B/C Regular Employee of P.U. must send the copy of printout of their Entrance Test Form along with Performa for claiming 50% concession to P.U. Regular Employees ("B" and "C" Class) duly signed by Head/Chairperson, to Assistant Registrar, CET Cell, Aruna Ranjit Chandra Hall, Panjab University, Chandigarh-160014 by registered post/speed post or by hand on or before July 08, 2022 upto 4:00 p.m..
- Mere login id creation OR deposit of fee does not mean that candidate has completed his/her online form. Incomplete form leads to cancellation of candidature. Any request for completion of form after due date will not be entertained at all.
ENTRANCE TEST SCHEME PAPER: LEGAL AND GENERAL AWARENESS

Total Marks for the paper---- 100
Duration of the Paper----90
Out of these 100 questions, 60 questions will be based on Testing General Knowledge and Current Affairs, 20 Aptitude for Law, 10 Testing Mental Ability and rest of the 10 questions testing English Language. The Question Paper will be available in English, Hindi and Punjabi (except for the portion “proficiency in English Language”).
ADMISSION PROCESS
After declaration of result of Entrance Test, the Admission Form shall be available at Panjab University website.
21.2 The candidates who have qualified Entrance Test have to submit duly filled Admission Form, as per the guidelines displayed on the above-said website.
21.3 Every candidate must indicate in her/his Admission Form the reserved category/ies for which s/he wants to apply. If the category is not mentioned in her/his Admission Form, the candidate will be considered for the General Category only. No candidate shall be considered for admission against any reserved category/ies for which s/he has not applied. However, a reserved category candidate, will be considered for admission against General category seats also as per his general merit position, subject to the condition that the candidate of SC/ST/BC/PwD categories fulfills the minimum eligibility requirement of General Category and must not have availed of relaxation in eligibility marks. 21.4 Once the candidate has submitted the online Admission Form, any change in the Form including category once marked shall not be allowed.
