THE FOUR YEAR (EIGHT SEMESTERS) FULL TIME BFA DEGREE COURSE IS DIVIDED INTO TWO PARTS:
a) Foundation (Two Semesters) b) Specialization (Six Semesters)
FOUNDATION Foundation course is of one-year duration; it is common to all the specializations except the Art History Specialization. As implied, the Foundation Course provides instructions to lay the base for the Specializations.
The Specializations offered are:
1. Applied Art
2. Art History
3. Painting
4. Print Making
5. Sculpture
6. Visual Communication
College will not be responsible for any mistake/ error by the applicant
Eligibility of Admissions
1) The candidates seeking admission to BFA Degree Course must have a clear pass in any one of the following examinations with 50% or more marks in the aggregate of five subjects. Candidates with Compartment are not eligible to apply.
(a) Senior School Certificate Examination with all subjects (12-year course) of the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi.
(b) Indian School Certificate Examination with all subjects (12-year course) of the Council for Indian School Certificates Examination, New Delhi.
(c) Intermediate Examination with all subjects of the recognized Board.
(d) Any other Examination recognized as equivalent to the Senior School Certificate Examination (12-year course) of the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi.
Procedure for Admission
Candidates admissions to undergraduate (BFA) courses are merit-based (that is, based on marks scored in Class XII Board/qualifying examinations) and marks obtained in the entrance test. The application form for BFA will be available online from 27th May 2022.
There are no paper application forms.
Tentative last date of filling of online application form for BFA courses is 30th June 2022.
The candidates will fill up the online application form for BFA, and pay fee of Rs. 500/- for General/ Defence (CW)/KM and Economically Weaker Section (EWS) Category and Rs. 250/- for SC/ST/OBC and Persons with Disabilities (PWD) and Hearing and Speech Impaired (H&SI) category through online payment(Credit/Debit or Net banking).

Method of Selection
For the Academic Session 2022-23 Admissions to undergraduate (BFA) courses are meritbased (that is, Based on marks scored in Class XII Board/qualifying examinations) and marks obtained in entrance test. Final selection of the candidates will be made strictly in order of merit in the following manner: -
(a) Weightage of 60% marks will be given for the Aptitude Test.
(b) Weightage of 40% marks will be given for marks secured by the candidate in the 10+2 or equivalent examination.
The Eligibility List of Aptitude Test will be published on the website.
No individual communication to the candidates will be sent in this regard. The merit list of successful candidates will be published on the admission portal.

A candidate selected for admission must join the College by depositing the prescribed fees and other charges from failing which his/her admission is liable to be cancelled and offered to the next candidate on the Waiting List.
