UIPSR is the first university institute imparting pharmacy education in this region of Punjab. Established in 2011, the institute is running B. Pharmacy and M. Pharmacy courses. Alumni of this institute have national and global presence in academia as well industry. The institute is approved by Pharmacy Council of India. The institute is facilitating industrial visits and hospital/ industrial training for its students. Campus interviews are also conducted for placement of B. Pharmacy students. The Board of Management of BFUHS has sanctioned funds for construction of a new building for UIPSR and the construction of new building is in full swing
Courses Duration and Eligibility
i) Course - B.PHARMACY
ii) Duration - The duration of the course shall be four academic years (eight semesters) full time having hundred working days for each semester.
Minimum Qualification
– A candidate must have passed in any of the following examinations:
– a) Candidate should have passed 10+2 examination conducted by the respective state/central government authorities recognized as equivalent to 10+2 examination by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) with English as one of the subjects and Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/Biology as optional subjects individually. The seats will be filled on the basis of merit of three subjects i.e. Physics, Chemistry and Biology/ Maths. In case a candidate has passed both Maths and Biology the subject with higher marks will be considered for preparation of merit. The candidate should be a Bonafide resident of Punjab State, See section 14 for details.
b) Any other qualification as approved by the Pharmacy Council of India as equivalent to any of the above
examination.
c) Tie Breaking: In case of tie in aggregate marks in qualifying exams (PCB/PCM)
1. The candidate having higher marks in Chemistry will be given preference.
2. In case the marks in Chemistry are also similar, candidate higher in Physics will be preferred.
3. In case marks in both Physics and Chemistry are same, candidate higher in age will be preferred.
4. If tie still persist, the decision of admission committee shall be final.
Age Candidate should have attained or will attain the age of 17 (seventeen) years as on 31st December 2022. Candidates born on or after 02.01.2006 are NOT ELIGIBLE to apply.

Application Fee
a) Rs. 3540/- for General Category (RS. 1770/- for SC category only) including GST @18% to be deposited in university account through payment gateway available on university website i.e. www.bfuhs.ac.in by due date and time.
b) Fee once deposited in University account will not be refunded / adjusted.
