About Common University Entrance Test (CUET (UG) - 2023)
The Common University Entrance Test (CUET (UG) - 2023) is being introduced for admission into all UG Programmes in all Central Universities for academic session 2023-24 under the Ministry of Education, (MoE).
The Common University Entrance Test (CUET) will provide a common platform and equal opportunities to candidates across the country, especially those from rural and other remote areas and help establish better connect with the Universities.
A single examination will enable the Candidates to cover a wide outreach and be part of the admissions process to various Central Universities.
CUET (UG) will provide a single window opportunity to students seeking admission in any of the Central Universities (CUs) or other participating organizations (including State Universities, Deemed and Private Universities) across the Country.
Eligibility
For appearing in the CUET (UG) - 2023, there is no age limit for the candidates. The candidates who have passed the class 12 /equivalent examination or are appearing in 2023 irrespective of their age can appear in CUET (UG) - 2023 examination. However, the candidates will be required to fulfill the age criteria (if any) of the University / Institution / Organization in which they are desirous of taking admission.
Year of Appearance in Qualifying Examination For year of appearance in Class 12 / equivalent examination, relavant conditions of Universities / Institutions (as applicable) will be applied. The candidate must ensure his eligibility from the website of respective Universities / Institutions.
How to fill CUET 2023 Application Form?
Step 1 - Visit the official website - cuet.samarth.ac.in.
Step 2 - Fill up the CUET registration 2023 by entering the details.
Step 3 - Candidates will receive the login credentials on their registered email address and mobile number.
Step 4 - Now, the candidates can use the login details provided by NTA and fill the application form of CUET.
Step 5 - Upload the required documents such as a scanned image of NTA passport-sized photograph and signature in the prescribed format.
Step 6 - Pay the application fee in online mode.
Step 7 - Take the printouts of the duly filled application form for future reference.

Tests Design: There are three Sections in the design of the test:
- Section IA - 13 Languages (As a medium and “Language”)
- Section IB - 20 Languages
- Section II - 27 Domain Specific Subjects
- Section III - General Test
Syllabus of Test
Section IA & IB: Language to be tested through Reading Comprehension (based on different types of passages–Factual, Literary and Narrative, [Literary Aptitude and Vocabulary].
