Government of Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test Cell has released the online application for the MHT CET 2023 for admission to Undergraduate Professional Courses in Engineering/ Pharmacy

Note: - 1. The candidate seeking admission to First Year Engineering and Technology degree courses, it is mandatory that the candidate must appear for Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
MHT-CET 2023 will consist of 3 question paper of Multiple Choice Question (MCQ) and each paper will be of 100 marks, Details are as given below:

The question will be set on a) Whole Syllabus of Std XII of 2022-23 of Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics subjects.
Eligibility:
- All the candidates passed/ appearing at the qualifying examination i.e. HSC/12th Standard examination or its equivalent examination and having Indian Nationality are eligible for appearing for MHT-CET 2023. There is no age limit for admission and appearing to MHT-CET 2023

) Maharashtra State Candidature Candidates. - (i) The Candidate should be an Indian National; (ii) Passed HSC or its equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry or Biotechnology or Biology or Technical Vocational subject or Computer Science or Information Technology or Informatics Practices or Agriculture or Engineering Graphics or Business Studies and obtained at least 45 % marks (at least 40 % marks, in case of Backward Class categories, Economically Weaker Section and Persons with Disability category candidates belonging to Maharashtra State), in the above subjects taken together; and the Candidate should have appeared in all the subjects in CET and should obtain non zero score in CET conducted by the Competent Authority; or (ii) Passed Diploma in Engineering and Technology and obtained at least 45 % marks (at least 40 % marks, in case of Backward Class categories, Economically Weaker Section and Persons with Disability category candidates belonging to Maharashtra State); (2) All India Candidature Candidates, Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir and Union Territory of Ladakh Migrant Candidature Candidates. – (i) The Candidate should be an Indian National; (ii) Passed HSC or its equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry or Biotechnology or Biology or Technical Vocational subject or Computer Science or Information Technology or Informatics Practices or Agriculture or Engineering Graphics or Business Studies and obtained at least 45 % marks (at least 40 % marks, in case of Backward Class categories, Economically Weaker Section and Persons with Disability category candidates belonging to Maharashtra State) in the above subjects taken together; and should obtain non zero positive score in JEE (Main) B.E./B.Tech or the candidate should have appeared in all the subjects in CET and should obtain non zero score in CET conducted by the Competent Authority. However, preference shall be given to the candidate obtaining non zero positive score in JEE (Main) B.E./B.Tech over the candidates who obtained non zero score in CET; or (ii) Passed Diploma in Engineering and Technology and obtained at least 45 % marks (at least 40 % marks, in case of Backward Class categories, Economically Weaker Section and Persons with Disability category candidates belonging to Maharashtra State); |
First Year - Pharmacy |
Maharashtra State Candidature Candidates and All India Candidature Candidates. (1) Maharashtra State Candidature Candidates. – (i) The candidate should be an Indian National; (ii) Passed HSC or its equivalent examination with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with one of the Mathematics or Biology and obtained at least 45% marks (at least 40% marks in case of candidates of Backward Class categories, Economically Weaker Section and Persons with Disability category belonging to Maharashtra State) in the above subjects taken together; (iii) Should have appeared in all the subjects and should obtain non zero score in CET conducted by the Competent Authority. (2) All India Candidature Candidates. – (i) The candidate should be an Indian National; (ii) Passed HSC or its equivalent examination with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with one of the Mathematics or Biology and obtained at least 45% marks (at least 40% marks in case of candidates of Backward class categories, Economically Weaker Section and Persons with Disability belonging to Maharashtra State) in the above subjects taken together; (iii) Should obtain non zero positive score in NEET or the candidate should have appeared in all the subjects in CET and should obtain non zero score in CET conducted by the Competent Authority. However, preference shall be given to the candidate obtaining non zero positive score in NEET over the candidates who obtained non zero score in CET. |
