The ninth Indian Institute of Management was established at Ranchi in 2009. This was made possible with the extensive support of the Indian Institute of Management Calcutta and the Government of Jharkhand, working under the guidance of Ministry of Education, Government of India.
It started at a time when the management education world over was criticized for over emphasis on competition, aggression and achievement of results by any means. The biggest challenge was to revive the aura and exclusivity of classroom-teaching in an era ruled by the advent of technology in education as well. There was an evident void in terms of fulfilling the requirements of firms that employ management students.

BBA-MBA 5 Years
The Integrated Programme in Management (IPM) of IIM Ranchi is a full-time 5-year blended course of business studies from undergraduate to postgraduate level (Integrated BBA-MBA). Students will be awarded a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree at the end of the programme.

Instructions
Candidates are advised to go through the following Instructions carefully before filling the form:
1. Deadline to apply for IPM 2023-28 is 5:00 PM 9th May 2023.
2. Candidates are advised to apply as soon as possible to avoid the last minute rush.
3. Candidates are required to fill the information very carefully and must cross check before making the application fee payment and final submission.
4. Once the candidate has made the payment of application fees, no modification in the application form will be allowed and in all such cases, the candidate has to cancel the application form and re-apply using a different email id and will have to pay the application fees again.
5. Candidate who have been awarded Grades or CGPA for Class X or Class XII should fill equivalent percentage of marks as per the instructions of their respective board.
6. Candidates, who have not been awarded any Grade or percentage for Class X and/or Class XII and have been promoted through a valid official order of competent authority during COVID-19, should fill “Promoted” in place for percentage of Marks.
7. Filling the correct information in each field is the sole responsibility of the candidate and no email or other communication regarding modification will be entertained by IIM Ranchi.
8. If any information provided by the candidate is found to be wrong at any point of time, his/her candidature will be cancelled by IIM Ranchi and decision of IIM Ranchi will be final and binding on candidates.
9. Once the application fees has been paid and application form has been submitted by the candidate, he/she is required to re-login and update the IPMAT 2023 (Conducted by IIM Indore) Application Number by 5:00 PM 31st May 2023.
10. Candidates who do not update their IPMAT 2023 Application number by the deadline mentioned in point no. 9, his/her application will be cancelled and no any email or other communication will be entertained in this regard.
11. The application fee for General, EWS & NC-OBC categories is Rs. 2500/- and Rs. 1250/- for SC, ST & DAP Categories.
12. It is sole responsibility of the candidate to keep on checking their registered email id (including Spam, Promotion etc. folder), IIM Ranchi website, and registered mobile number for any update/notification from IIM Ranchi. The institute will not be responsible in case a candidate miss any communication/deadline.
13. Filling the correct IPMAT 2023 Application number is sole responsibility of the candidate. Candidate who has filled incorrect IPMAT 2023 Application number, his/her candidature will stand cancelled without any prior intimation.
14. For IPM 2023-28 of IIM Ranchi only IPMAT 2023 (Conducted by IIM Indore) score will be accepted.
15. The Personal Interview (PI) process is tentatively scheduled in the month of July 2023 at Mumbai, Delhi, Ranchi, Hyderabad, Bangalore and/or Chennai centres in offline mode. However the mode of PI Process and centres may be subject to change.
Selection Procedure
IIM Ranchi would like to inform that for admission into the IPM programme of IIM Ranchi batch of 2023-28 & onward, only scores of IPMAT (Conducted by IIM Indore) will be considered. Hence SAT Scores will no longer be accepted for admission in IPM Programme of IIM Ranchi for the batch of 2023-28 & onward. The institute reserves the rights to change/modify the admission process/criteria. Prospective candidates are advised to keep visiting the IIM Ranchi website for latest updates. Program Fees
The total fees for the first three years of the program will be around INR 16 Lakhs. The fees for the next two years will be equal to the MBA program fees set for that year. These fees do not include mess charges.
