Kargil Vijay Diwas is observed on July 26th every year to mark the victory of the Indian Army in the Kargil War of 1999. To celebrate the Silver Jubilee of Kargil Vijay Diwas, a year-long programme has been planned which would commence from 26th July, 2023.
In a view to select a logo for this Mahotsav, the Ministry of Defence, in collaboration with MyGov is organizing an online contest inviting Logo for the citizens (aged 14 and above) to celebrate the Silver Jubilee of Kargil Vijay Diwas in honour of the Kargil War's Heroes.
Eligiblity Criteria
- The competition is open to all Indian Citizens aged 14 years and above.
- The logo should be designed on a digital platform and in coloured format.
- The entries/design of Logo received through the competition would be assessed by a committee in Ministry of Defence to finalize the logo for the Mahotsav with modification, if required.
- The logo should be usable on the website/ social media such as Twitter/ Facebook, press releases, and on printable such as stationery, signage, labels, etc., magazines, commercials, holdings, standees, brochures, leaflets, pamphlets, souvenirs, and other publicity and marketing material for the promotion of Kargil Vijay Diwas.
- Plagiarism of any nature would not be allowed.
- Entries should not be submitted in compressed or self-extracting formats.
- One participant can submit only one entry. Multiple entries from the participant shall lead to disqualification.
- Participants should only upload the logo in JPEG / PNG / PDF format.
- The logo image should be in high resolution with a minimum of 300 DPI.
Rewards
The Best Entry will be rewarded with a cash prize of Rs. 10,000.
