About
Young Rangers is an exciting contest aimed at empowering students to become conservation advocates. This competition offers a unique platform for young minds to deliver a powerful conservation message centered around the majestic tiger and its vital role in maintaining our ecosystem.
Our objective is to inspire students to become champions of tiger conservation by raising awareness about the significance of these magnificent creatures. Through this competition, participants will have the opportunity to showcase their creativity, passion, and commitment to preserving the natural world through any of the following formats:
Eligiblity Criteria
- Middle School: Classes 6th - 8th Secondary School:
- Classes 9th - 10th
- High School: Classes 11th - 12th
- Indiviual Participation
- Each participant may submit only one entry.
- Entries must be in English language only.
Competion Theme:
- Why Tigers are Vital to Our Environment
- Focus on the Importance of tigers in the ecosystem, conservation efforts, habitat preservation, or related topics.
Participation Process
Participants have the freedom to convey their message creatively through essays, drawings, speeches, poems, dance, or music through any of the following formats:
1. Video: Students may submit their dance, music, and speech entries in this format. The duration should be under 3 minutes.
- Acceptable formats- WebM files, MPEG4, 3GPP, MOV files, AVI, MPEGPS, WMV, FLV, MTS, OGG
- Maximum size- 550 MB
2. Audio: Students may submit their music and speech entries in this format. The duration should be under 3 minutes.
- Acceptable formats- WebM files, MPEG4, 3GPP, MOV files, AVI, MPEGPS, WMV, FLV, MTS, OGG
- File size- Less than 300 MB
3. Images: Students may submit their artwork/ drawings in this format.
- Acceptable formats - JPEG, PNG8, PNG24, GIF, BMP, WEBP, RAW, ICO, PDF, TIFF
- File size- Less than 300 MB
4. Presentations: Students may submit their presentations of not more than 10 slides in this format.
- Acceptable formats- .pptx / pdf
- File size- Less than 300 MB
5. Write-ups: Students may submit their short essays or poems in this format. The content should be self-composed and not exceed 1,000 words pages. Plagiarism of no more than 15% will be accepted.
