About The Test
Vellore Institute of Technology Engineering Entrance Examination (VITEEE) is conducted for admission to Undergraduate Engineering Programmes in VIT group of Institutions. VITEEE will be conducted between 19 & 30 April 2024 (Tentative) at designated centres across India & Abroad.
The duration of the examination will be 2 hours & 30 minutes. Candidates can appear only once for VITEEE.
All questions will be MCQs and 1 mark for right and 0 for the wrong answer. The question paper will be in English only. There will be a total of 125 questions divided into the sections :
- Maths/Biology (40 questions) - Physics (35 questions) - Chemistry (35 questions) - Aptitude (10 questions) - English (5 questions).

Eligibility
10+2 from Science Stream with minimum 60% (SB, CBSE, ICSE, NIOS, GCE, IB)
PCMB/PCM applicants who have attempted Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, English and Aptitude in VITEEE 2024 are eligible for all B. Tech Programmes.
PCMB/PCB applicants who have attempted Physics, Chemistry, Biology, English and Aptitude in VITEEE 2024 & PCB applicants who have attempted Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, English and Aptitude in VITEEE 2024 are eligible only for the following programmes :

Selection Process
Selection is based on the rank secured through CBT (Computer Based Test) VITEEE 2024.
Selected candidates can participate in online counseling based on their ranking. They can give options for specific campus, programme and category of fees. Allotment will be based on the matching of the rank obtained and available options.
VIT will verify the eligibility of candidates after completing the tuition fee payment on or before the stipulated date. Candidates are required to produce documents on the day of coming to the campus or as and when asked for, by the Office of Admissions. Provisional Admission offered during counselling will be valid ONLY if the eligibility is fulfilled.
