About Us
The Shiv Nadar Institution of Eminence is a multidisciplinary, student-centric research university established in 2011 by Shiv Nadar, one of India’s foremost philanthropists and a pioneer of technological revolution. It has four Schools, viz., Engineering, Natural Sciences, Humanities and Social Sciences, Management & Entrepreneurship, and the Academy of Continuing Education. We were the first university in the country to offer a 4-year multidisciplinary research degree.
About Design For Future Challenge
Department of Design, Shiv Nadar University, Delhi NCR, believes that most of the wicked problems we face today can be solved by visualizing a desirable future and working towards that imagined future into reality.
The Design for Future Challenge invites you to showcase your intelligence in identifying and designing solutions for the problems and needs of a future city in the year 2050.
Eligibility Criteria
- Classes: Candidates of class 11th & 12th from any stream are eligible.
- Participation: Students can participate individually or in group of two students (referred to as team). A team (individually or in groups of two students) should submit only one entry. However, a student can be a part of more than one team.
Selection Process
There will be two rounds of assessment for selecting the final winners.
- Round 1: Shortlisted entries will be assessed based on how well you have visualized the scenario, identified the problem and how innovative your outcomes are. The top 20 entries will be selected for the second and final round.
- Round 2: Winners will be announced based on the presentation, including visualization of the future scenario, problem identified, solution proposed, and quality of illustrations.
