About Us
Indian Institutes of Science Education and Research (IISERs) was established by the Government of India at Berhampur, Bhopal, Kolkata, Mohali, Pune, Thiruvananthapuram, and Tirupati to integrate and promote interdisciplinary science education and research. Over the years, the IISERs have been successfully attracting talented young minds. An overarching goal of the IISERs is to enable students to shape the nation by inventing and implementing sustainable solutions for societal problems through research in science. This is being achieved by our faculty of international repute together with bright students. In a short span of time, the IISERs have generated an incredible amount of intellectual property in the form of publications and patents.
Course Offered
IISERs offer admission into courses leading to BS-MS Dual Degree, and BS Degree (only at IISER Bhopal) Programs.

NOTE - Four-year BS program in Engineering Sciences and Economics Sciences is offered only by IISER Bhopal.
Eligibility Criteria

The candidate must be from a Science Stream with any of these three subjects - Physics, Chemistry Mathematics/ Biology.

The Candidate must be 12th pass or equivalent with minimum 60%.
Selection Process
The Candidate must appear for IISER Aptitude Test 2024 for getting admissions into IISER. Admissions are via JEE (Advanced) Score as well.
Exam Pattern
Question paper comprises of 4 sections which are Physics, Chemistry, Biology & Mathematics.
