About Us
The Indian Maritime University (IMU), headquartered in Chennai, was established on 14th November 2008 as a teaching-cum-affiliating university under the aegis of the Ministry of Shipping, Government of India. It was set up to promote maritime studies, training, research and extension with focus on emerging areas like oceanography, maritime history, maritime laws, maritime security, search and rescue, transportation of dangerous cargo, environmental studies and other related fields, and to achieveexcellence in these areas. The oldest of the IMU Campuses i.e. IMU Navi Mumbai Campus was established in 1927. IMU has 6 Campuses at Chennai, Kochi, Kolkata, Mumbai Port , Navi Mumbai and Visakhapatnam.

Selection Process
The Candidate must appear for IMU - CET (UG) 2024 Examination to be eligible for admissions into the above mentioned courses & CUET UG 2024 for the above mentioned courses (refer on CUET UG website).

How to Apply

The Candidate must register Online on their website for IMU - CET (UG) 2024 & on CUET UG 2024 for the respective courses.

The Candidate must pay their registration fee - Rs 1000 for IMU - CET (UG) - Technical Courses & Rs 200 for Non Technical Courses.
