About  Us

 

National Museum of Natural History (NMNH) is under Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, Government of India and has organized a variety of educational and extension services to supplement formal education system and bring environmental awareness among the masses. Established and operationalised four Regional offices (Regional Museums of Natural History) at Mysore (Southern Region) in May 1995, Bhopal (Central Region) in September 1997, Bhubaneswar (Eastern Region) in August 2004, Sawai Madhopur (Western Region) in December 2007. A fifth Regional office is coming soon at Gangtok (North-Eastern Region).

 

About the Competition

 

National Museum of Natural History (NMNH) in Collaboration with Ozone cell, MoEF&CC is organising Online National Level competition for school students in the following categories :-

  • Poster Making Competition
    THEME - Protection of the Ozone Layer & reducing climate change by eliminating ozone Depleting Substances (ODSs) and Hydrofluorocarbons (HFCs).

  • Slogan Writing Competition
    THEME -
    (a) Protection of the Ozone Layer.
    (b) Climate friendly lifestyle practices to combat Global Warming.

 

Eligibility Criteria

 

Students from Class 8th to 12th are eligible to participate.

 

Instructions for the Competition

 

  • One entry per student.

  • The entries should be original.

  • The entries of Poster must be made in drawing sheet sized 22x13 inches. Etc.
