About Us
St. Joseph’s College of Commerce (SJCC), formerly a part of St. Joseph’s College, established in the year 1882, is managed by the Bangalore Jesuit Educational Society (BJES). In 2022, the college transitioned into a multidisciplinary college with the integration of two new undergraduate programmes: B.A. English (Hons) and B.Sc. Economics (Hons). The college aims at holistic development of students fostering in them academic excellence, social concern, and character formation; shaping them to become “men and women for and with others”. The motto of the College ‘Fide et Labore’ (Faith and Toil) serves as the foundation for the vision and mission of the college.

Round 1 - SJCC Aptitude Test – English (SAT-Eng)
The test will consist of four sections:
> Section A: English Language Ability (15 marks)
> Section B: Critical Thinking Skills (15 marks)
> Section C: Comprehension Passage (15 marks)
> Section D: Reflective Essay (15 marks)
Round 2 – Subject Knowledge Assessment & Personal Interview and Document Verification.
- SCAT - St. Joseph’s Commerce Aptitude Test
Round 1
> Section I: Basic Accountancy and Finance, Advanced Accountancy and Finance, Basic & Advanced Mathematics and Statistics.
> Section II: English Language Skills, Mathematics & Quantitative Aptitude, Logical Reasoning, Analytical Skills and Data Interpretation.
Round 2 – Subject Knowledge Interview.
Round 3 – Personal Interview and Document Verification.
