About Us
Ashoka University is named after Emperor Ashoka (c. 304 – 232 BC) who represents India’s highest values and ideals. Emperor Ashoka’s dhamma revolved around liberal thought and education. Having personally undergone a self-transformation, Emperor Ashoka went on to spread his ideas far and wide across Asia.
Drawing from Emperor Ashoka’s life of learning and transformation, Ashoka University provides a holistic education that is liberal, multidisciplinary, and interdisciplinary, offering a diverse and inclusive space for its students to think deeply and critically, learn across disciplinary boundaries, express themselves creatively, and communicate with meaning to cause impact and change. Students are encouraged to explore ideas, engage in research, and focus on values and ideals of the highest order to experience self-transformation within the duration of their education and henceforth.
About the Programme
Ashoka Horizons Achievers Programme offers certified, immersive micro courses specially curated for curious and ambitious high school students entering grades 9-12. The courses cover a wide range of subjects and cutting-edge 21st-century skills. The innovative, future-forward modules, delivered by world-class global faculty and industry experts, offer personalised mentorship and peer collaboration. High schoolers work on capstone projects that allow the student to learn, apply and achieve meaningful learning outcomes, making them future-ready. The Ashoka Horizons Achievers Programme empowers high schoolers with richer subject and skill specific knowledge and stronger profiles for better college admission outcomes in India or abroad.

Eligibility Criteria

High school students from India and across the world are eligible to apply.

Students should be entering or in grades 9-12 as in summer 2025.

Students should be comfortable with written & spoken English, which will be the medium of instruction for the courses.

Students should have consistent access to the Internet and a computer that aligns with the recommended minimum specifications.

Students should have good and consistent academic record.
