Srishti Manipal Institute of Art, Design and Technology (SMI)—formerly known as Srishti Institute of Art, Design and Technology—has pioneered transdisciplinary art and design pedagogy for over two decades. Srishti educates artists, designers and practitioners with an aim to inspire and encourage creativity. Eligibility Criteria

The candidate must be 12th pass or equivalent from recognized board with minimum 50% in their academics.

Age - Srishti Manipal encourages applications from applicants between the ages of 18 and 25 for its undergraduate programs.
Selection Process
-
The candidate must appear for SMEAT 2025.
-
Materials Required - Basic stationary like Pen and pencils, eraser, sharpener, cutter, 12-inch ruler. Basic art materials such as color pencils, oil pastels, water/poster colors, brushes, sketch pens, glue stick.

An applicant can apply for only ONE Round in a given academic year.
Exam Pattern
A] SMEAT 2025
i) TEST 1 (T1)
General Ability Test.
ii) TEST 2 (T2)
> This is a Theme or Context based Test.
> All applicants will undertake Test 2 that will be based on a given theme or context which will be sent to the applicant before the test date.
B] UCEED / SAT Exemption
-
Applicants who have taken the UCEED 2025 examination can choose to be exempt from Test 1 if their All-India Rank is 600 or below provided they are able to submit this result at the time of application. ©Srishti Manipal Institute of Art, Design & Technology, a constituent unit of MAHE, Manipal 4.

Applicants who have taken the Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) during current year and whose composite score is 1100 or above can choose to be exempt from Test 1 provided they are able to submit this at the time of application.

It is mandatory for all applicants to take Test 1 and 2 unless they are exempt from Test 1 as described above.
