About Us
The Indian Institute of Management, Ranchi was established in 2009. This was made possible with the extensive support of the Indian Institute of Management Calcutta and the Government of Jharkhand, working under the guidance of Ministry of Education, Government of India.
It started at a time when the management education world over was criticized for over emphasis on competition, aggression and achievement of results by any means. The biggest challenge was to revive the aura and exclusivity of classroom-teaching in an era ruled by the advent of technology in education as well. There was an evident void in terms of fulfilling the requirements of firms that employ management students.
Course Offered
BBA-MBA 5 Years
The Integrated Programme in Management (IPM) of IIM Ranchi is a full-time 5-year blended course of business studies from undergraduate to postgraduate level (Integrated BBA-MBA). Students will be awarded a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree at the end of the programme.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates satisfying the following criteria are eligible to apply for the Five-Year Integrated Programme in Management of IIM Ranchi.

Qualifying Exam - Candidates should have passed the 10th standard and the 12th standard (or equivalent) with 60% (55% for candidates from SC/ST/PwD) or more marks.

IIM Ranchi accepts only the scores of IPMAT (conducted by IIM Indore).
Admission Process

IIM Ranchi accepts only the scores of IPMAT (conducted by IIM Indore) & conducts Personal Interview (PI).

The Institute reserves the right to change/modify the admission process/criteria. Prospective candidates are advised to monitor the IIM Ranchi website for the latest updates.

The Personal Interview (PI) process is tentatively scheduled in the month of July 2024 at Mumbai, Delhi, Ranchi, Hyderabad, Bangalore and/or Chennai centres in offline mode. However, the mode of PI Process and centres may be subject to change.
