About the Contest
As part of the International Year of Cooperation (IYC) celebrations, the National Agricultural Cooperative Marketing Federation of India Ltd. (NAFED) in collaboration with MyGov invites thoughtful minds to participate in our national essay contest! They are seeking articulate, insightful essays that explore the transformative role of agricultural cooperatives in India's economic development, food security, and rural empowerment.
This contest aims to encourage critical thinking and discourse on cooperative principles, their implementation through various schemes, and their impact on India's agricultural landscape. Whether you're a student, researcher, agricultural professional, or someone passionate about rural development, we welcome your perspective on how cooperation has shaped and continues to shape our nation's agricultural journey.
Eligibility Criteria

This contest is open for All Indian Citizens.

The competition will be in English and Hindi, both languages. Entries can be submitted in either English or Hindi.

One participant can submit a maximum of one entry only. Once submitted, an entry cannot be withdrawn.

The essays beyond the prescribed limit (less than 1500 words and more than 2500 words) will not be considered for evaluation.

Please note that the work must be original and should not violate any provision of the Indian Copyright Act, 1957. Anyone found infringing on others’ copyrights would be disqualified.
