They will short-list you based on a collective assessment of your Profiling (weightage – 20%), Statement of Purpose (weightage – 10%), Group Discussion (weightage – 20%) and a Personal Interview (weightage – 50%).
The online profile is only to understand you behaviour in form of MCQ, there is no pass or fail and no negative marking.
You have to agree or disagree with the sentence appear on the screen.
Group Discussion - This is the first step of the non-elimination rounds. You will be allotted a room and shall be seated in a group of about 10 people in circular formation. A topic, usually a situation related to the hospitality industry or current affair situations are given as topics. Your speaking skills, body posture, team work, argument handling skills, spontaneity, etc. are judged here. The group discussion session continues roughly up to 15 minutes.
Statement of Purpose - Post the group discussion session, you shall be seated in one of the class room and shall be provided with an answer sheet to write you’re SOP. Time allotted is anywhere between 45–60 minutes. What is expected out of the student appearing the interview is information about yourself, your hobbies, fields of interest, your motivation to choose this industry, your aims and goals in life, your strengths and weaknesses through introspection or answer questions like ‘What made you choose the hospitality industry?’, ‘Where do you see yourself in this industry after 5 years?’, etc. Do NOT write the know information about the college or its position among others or why did you choose this college over other colleges, because this is the information that is known to them. The judging panel is curious to know as much as possible about you.
Personal Interview - This is the final round. You will be seated across a panel which shall include the principal, the deans and the faculty members. Be honest in your replies to their questions, share your personal experiences in hospitality and make sure at the end of the personal interview, you get all your doubts cleared and your questions answered if any. Usually the final result is declared immediately post the personal interview.

- General Awareness
- Service Orientation
- Personality Factors
Please adhere to the prescribed dress code when you meet us at the designated Centre.
