Admissions to the Bachelor of Design (B.Des.) programmes at IIT Bombay, IIT Guwahati, IIT Hyderabad, and IIITDM Jabalpur are done through the Undergraduate Common Entrance Exam for Design (UCEED). Students who have passed Class XII (or equivalent) in 2019 or appearing in 2020 in ANY STREAM (Science, Commerce, or Arts & Humanities), are eligible to appear for UCEED 2020.

- Marking Scheme: Mention in above table
- Negative Marking: There will be no negative marking in PART B. There shall be negative marking for wrong answers in PART A, for each wrong answer in MSQ= 0.19 marks and in MCQ= 0.71 marks shall be deducted.
- Exam Duration: The exam Total duration will be 3 Hours
PART A = 02:30 Hours
PART B = 30 Minutes
Calculators, charts, graph-sheets, mathematical tables, mobile phone, smart watches and/or other electronic gadgets are NOT allowed in the examination hall.
