Manipal Institute of Technology offers BTech and MTech degrees in several engineering streams including Computer Science, Electrical, Mechanical, Building Science, and Chemical. The duration of the BTech programme is a minimum of 4 years (8 semesters), during which students will need to earn 170 credits in order to be awarded with the degree.
The MIT BTech curriculum is highly flexible, with students having the option to choose from a wide range of elective courses and open electives. Minor specialization will be decided based on the electives chosen by each student.
Eligibility
Pass in 10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Mathematics and English as compulsory subjects along with Chemistry / Biotechnology / Biology / any technical vocational subject* as optional, from a recognized Board, with minimum 50 % aggregate marks taken together in Physics, Mathematics and any one of the optional subjects
Technical vocational subject must be related to Chemical / Civil / Computer / Electrical / Mechanical streams.
