Karnataka Professional Colleges Foundation, in their endeavour to offer an effective, fair and objective testing procedure to determine merit of students seeking admission to the member institutions, have formed “Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka” (COMEDK).
COMEDK has been assigned the task of organising a common entrance test for the academic year 2021-2022.
Uni-GAUGE-E is an online entrance exam for engineering.The exam is made available to candidates seeking admission to B.E or B.Tech courses in Member Universities of Uni-GAUGE
COMEDK entrance test & publication of test score and rank list will be followed by centralized counseling (Single window system).
Eligibility
a) The qualifying examinations prescribed for admission for B.E./B.Tech is second PUC or 10+2 Higher Secondary or equivalent examination recognized by State / Central Government; the last two years of study shall comprise of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics with English as a compulsory subject.
b) The General Merit candidates should have passed with a minimum aggregate of 45% marks (40% in respect of SC, ST and OBC candidates of Karnataka State) in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and should have passed these subjects individually.
Physics and Mathematics are compulsory subjects along with Chemistry or Bio Technology or Biology or Computer Science or Electronics as one of the optional subjects. However, changes, if any, in the eligibility criteria by the AICTE will be adopted.

STEPS TO REGISTER
1. Click on ‘Engineering Application” button on www.comedk.org
2. Enter your Name and Date of Birth as per 10th Std/SSLC marks card only
3. Enter Your Email ID, Mobile number and ID proof details
4. Register.
STEPS TO COMPLETE APPLICATION FORM AFTER REGISTRATION
1. You will receive your User ID and Password on your mobile and Email ID
2. Logout from Application form
3. Login with your User ID and Password
4. Complete your application form.
5. Click on “Preview” and recheck all details
6. Click on “Submit” and make payment.
7. Re-login to application form and check status of your application form. Your application form should show “Your application is successfully submitted .Your payment is successful”.
